This item is very sensitive and must be handled gently. Wire is thin so tugging it or should I say getting it caught on something will cause it to malfunction or break. You do get what you pay for but if you take extra care when using it it should last. This is why I gave it a four star rating. The other reason is the customer service. I gave this as a gift and it malfunctioned. I sent an email and they quickly sent out an replacement. So far no issues with replacement. Some business' pride themselves' on customer service, this is one of them. |

I paid around $72 for this G-Shock after looking for a decent sports watch. It does the job displaying the date and time in an easy to read manner. The moon and tide calendar are a novelty, although I will probably never use these "surf watch" features despite living relatively close to the ocean.
I was impressed with the way the plastic band contoured with my wrist. I admit I have smaller wrists and other watches sometimes fit awkwardly. The size is a good fit for athletic activities and feels lightweight yet sturdy.
The plastic band and case has a nice metallic shine to it, so this might also qualify as a "fashion" watch if that' s what you are looking for. I' m very tempted to buy another one of these in a different color. |
