| 5.0 out of 5 stars my tag, May 30, 2009 | | By pobs "jp" | This review is from: TAG Heuer Men' s CAH1110.BA0850 Formula 1 Chronograph Watch (Watch) I always knew that tag makes nice timepieces, this one is very stylish and young looking perfect for casual get ups, and also very sporty. I like specially the brushed metal bracelet very elegant but does' nt shout bling. | | Was this review helpful to you?
| | | 5.0 out of 5 stars This review is from: TAG Heuer Men s CAH1110.BA0850 Formula 1 Chronograph Watch (Watch), June 17, 2009 | | By Victoria Anne Hahl | This review is from: TAG Heuer Men' s CAH1110.BA0850 Formula 1 Chronograph Watch (Watch) The watch looks great and quality is perfect.
Bought this watch for my brother. They sent me the model with rubber strap by mistake. I showed to my bro and he liked it, so Watch Grabber refunded me the diff in price. | | Was this review helpful to you?
| | | 4.0 out of 5 stars This review is from: TAG Heuer Men s CAH1110.BA0850 Formula 1 Chronograph Watch (Watch), September 02, 2009 | | By THANH NGUYEN | This review is from: TAG Heuer Men' s CAH1110.BA0850 Formula 1 Chronograph Watch (Watch) The stem (the part you wind up) has popped out three times. The first time, they fixed it under warranty. The second time, a month later, they charged me $275. It came back and a week later the stem was gone again. I stuffed it in a drawer for a few months and when I finally got around to going back to the jeweler, they told me it would be another $275 as the warranty had expired. Shame on me for not bringing it back quicker but frankly I am sick of these guys. The jeweler (Long' s Jeweler in Burlington Mass, totally useless and unhelpful) said warranty decisions from Tag are final.
The also mentioned "this was not normal" and "you must be setting the time wrong". I' ve had numerous watches I know how they work. Furthermore I never set the time after the first return, it came back set correctly I never had to. I only wore this watch to work (desk job) a few times. It was in no way used "incorrectly" nor abused nor hit on anything nor even worn during any type of strenuous activity. It' s just a lemon.
I' m not paying another $275 to fix it. Does anyone want a Tag with a missing stem?
BTW My first Tag also had problems, it' s a now discontinued model with a problem where the watch would fall off because the metal band was designed in such a way that the pins would come loose.
What is worse than the quality of this watch, is that Tag would charge me $275 to fix it in the first place, then on the third time back for the same problem, they want another $275 to fix it again. Not good at all. Plus it' s my second bad experience with a Tag watch.
Tag is the cheap expensive watch. Save your money and get a Timex, or spend some extra and get a Breitling or a Rolex. Don' t get a Tag. | | Was this review helpful to you?
